Tivoli’s Radio Silenz is the world’s first active noise canceling headphone to employ wood housings instead of plastic. The solid wood ear cups coupled with the high performance 40mm drivers provide excellent sound quality and low resonance, while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear. Bringing together a world-class line-up of musicians paying homage to the songwriting team of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, Citizen Dan performs straight-up Steely Dan arrangements with spot-on accuracy.

We are beyond thrilled that the legendary Walter Trout is officially back and the strings on his fret board are making phenomenal music! Thirteen months ago Walter underwent a life-saving liver transplant. Recently on June 12th, at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the esteemed Bluesman took the stage for the first time following the long and difficult path of extensive rehabilitation. Walter Trout’s 2014 release THE BLUES CAME CALLIN’ captures Trout reflecting on his omnipresent thoughts about mortality and his renewed appreciation for being alive. Trout searches his soul on this album and lays it bare allowing the celebration of his career to be infused with new appreciation for life. In Walter Trout’s own words “I am emotionally charged, explosive with feelings, and over the moon excited to re-experience what I love to do – playing for people – engaging them to walk with me through the Blues.”
A lifelong Texan, Buddy Whittington ‘entered the arena’ on December 28, 1956, in Fort Worth. He became inspired by his sister’s records of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and, in particular, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton and started playing the electric guitar. At the age of 14 he was already an integral part of the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX music scene and was playing regularly in the clubs along Jacksboro Highway. Immerse yourself in Whittington’s distinctive style of Texas roadhouse blues here at the Taos Bluesfest.
“Slick” Nick Schnebelen is a well-known Kansas City based roots and blues influenced artist. As the former lead guitarist, majority song writer and co-vocalist of the band Trampled Under Foot (their 2013 album, Badlands, reached number one on the US Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart), Nick established himself as a heavy weight contender in the Blues, Roots and Americana worlds of music. Nick Schnebelen now has a killer new band continuing his mix of high energy raw blues and Stomp Roots Americana.
The Cullen Winter Blues Band returns to performing in Taos, N.M. after a 4 year hiatus. They have also performed at most of the regions’ festivals including the Ruidoso Mountain of Blues, Madrid Blues Festival, Trinidaddio Blues, Taos Solarfest as well hundreds of the Southwest’s sleaziest bars, seediest nightclubs and dilapidated dance halls! As a boy of 12, Cullen was fortunate to have befriended Muddy Waters on his tours Cullen’s blues vocation was nurtured by Muddy’s everlasting influence. If you thought no one plays classic Chicago Blues anymore or that there are no more harp trills over barrelhouse piano and thumping bass beats, then you don’t want to miss The Cullen Winter Blues Band’s performance.
